Recently we have been in discussions with a major chain of children's products stores. We were pitching them on our sheet line. The talks have stalled because the Buyer feels our packing (insert) is confusing and does not clearly convey what the product actually does.
What the product does: it is a fitted bedsheet that acts as a waterproof mattress protector. The intended market ranges: pregnant women, nursing women, babies, and potty training kids. It also includes special needs kids and the elder care market.
The insert that goes into the existing packaging is a standard size 8.5 by 11 inch brochure paper. Portrait orientation.
To comply with packaging laws, the insert must state:
*Company name: Oops! Sheet
*Description: Waterproof Mattress Cover/Protector (there is some creative leeway here). Could also state "Fitted Sheet Style"
*Made in China
*Sheet Size: ie: Crib, Twin, Double, Queen
*The insert will need to have room for French for the Canadian Market and we can provide the French if you are unable to do so. Just please leave room for it!
We would also like the insert to communicate:
*Vinyl and PVC Free
You are welcome to use our existing logos but are not obligated to do so. If you wish to use a lifestyle photo and/or product picture, please ensure the picture you choose is one we can legally use without copyright, royalty issues etc.
