Sparking wine label -- PLEASE START WITH A FRONT LABEL DESIGN and we can do the back once a designer is chosen -- tricky part is that we'd like it to feel consistent with our brand, but also be "out of the box" and more interesting/artistic/original that our standard labels. It should have a "New World" feel, rather than a traditional/"Old World" feel.
Wine name: Skål (which means "cheers" in Norwegian)
Brand feel: Luxury, celebratory yet chic - important that it feels like it's in the brand family of our other labels (included in this brief) but also stands alone as something special and different
Packaging: A standard sparkling bottle with dark glass (bottle drawing attached as PDF to this brief). Gold cage/hood securing cork, no foil wrap.
Key color: We have a high interest in using a dark blue/navy tone prominently (maybe as a background tone), but we're not 100% married to the idea. This is distinguishing as we haven't used navy in our brand spectrum before (tradition black/gray, citron green and maroon). Note that we are using a gold foil cage/hood to secure the cork.
Suggested considerations: Interesting font techniques and textures, possible use of bubbles floating up from the wine name or via texture, but not married to this idea. Leaning to the side of interesting simplicity though. Suggestions on foils and embossing/debossing techniques appreciated.
Key brand elements to consider:
- Logo and barn, but these do not necessarily need to be incorporated in a specific style on this front label
- We are 100% sustainably estate grown and have been farming this land since the 1960s (just something to keep in mind for inspiration)
- Gård means "farm or estate" in Norwegian, which is a nod to our heritage - as is the name of this wine, Skål, which means "cheers" in Norwegian
