See attached file for language that must be included on the front and back labels. The front label for this liqueur should be classic, yet whimsical. We think many gin bottles (such as Sipsmith Gin) are good examples because they are elegant yet fun, and they showcase the botanicals used. The bottle for our RIPARI amaro is "Springfield" : https://liquorbottle.net/bottles/springfield/. The label will feature the head of a deer, with antlers made of the dominant ingredients in the amaro (see additional files for the illustration) - in this case, elderberry and fig. The deer will be a black-and-white sketch, but the antler-branches and fruit will be lightly colored. The RIPARI amaro should have a deep red-purple color incorporated into the label - like elderberries. Note: This RIPARI amaro is one of a series of four amaros. For this competition, we are designing only the RIPARI, but it is helpful to think about the full line when designing. Labels for the other three amaros will have the same deer head, but the botanicals on the antlers will change. (For instance, the other attached file shows the deer illustration with apricots and walnuts.) Colors for the other three amaros will be burnt-orange (for the aforementioned apricot/walnut amaro), sage-green, and beet-red. If we select your design, we will most-likely hire you to design the other three (plus additional liqueur bottles).
- We want to use the attached sketch as artwork on the label, but if you think minor modifications would improve your design, please feel free to adjust.
- We are happy to consider fonts, images etc that require licensing. Please specify what aspects of your design require licensing so that we can make sure that we purchase them, if selected.
