“Steady Energy” is an energy shot that gives you steady, balanced energy without the jitters – all in an indulgent, great taste: double chocolate and espresso chocolate.
Description of the product target audience
Women / mothers who need quick energy but hate the taste and jitters of other energy shots / drinks. Men should be comfortable using it as well (no directly feminine design)
TASK: Design print ready packaging for a new energy shot to be marketed in the US. WHAT IS STEADY ENERGY? “Steady Energy” is an energy shot that gives you steady, balanced energy without the jitters – all in an indulgent, great taste: Double Chocolate & Espresso Chocolate BOTTLE SIZE: The bottle is a 1 oz shot bottle (die-line attached "DIE LINE"). - It is very small. - Communication must be effective and clear. FLAVOURS: – Double Chocolate – Espresso Chocolate Each flavour should have a picture that communicates the amazing taste. It has to look delicious. PLEASE NOTE: the design layout will be the same, but an element will change to communicate the different flavours. -- KEY VALUES: Premium Quality, Indulgent / Delicious Taste, Real Ingredients, Real Energy Convey quality of product – made with REAL Coffee and cocoa. PRIMARY AUDIENCE: – women (busy mothers), NOTE: that does not mean we want pink or to be overtly feminine. Men should be comfortable using this product as well. BRAND WORDS: – steady – balanced – energy – delicious – indulgent – it really tastes amazing! STYLE: – clear, concise and look great! – The most important thing is that it communicates CLEARLY to the customer what it is (see KEY VALUES - above) FONT: – clear, simple COLOUR: – Bold (but differentiated from 5 hour energy) – Everything must pop out and be easy to read outlined etc. INSPIRATIONS: LUNA BAR: http://www.clifbar.com/products/luna/luna-bar/chocolate-cupcake - We like the picture of the flavor and the clarity of the font and messaging. - We also like the bold color and the solid background with light patterns. - Luna bars are targeted at women and have indulgent flavors. -- COMPETITORS: The brand should be differentiated from the competitor, 5 hour energy. 5 hour energy is the dominant player. WHAT TO DO, AT A GLACE: – Please be clear and convey quality & indulgence & energy. – Stock images for the picture of flavors are fine. – Fonts should all be very clear. – Colors should be bold and convey energy. – Luna bar pallet is nice as its targeted at women and indulgence.
