We would like to create two distinct sub-lines under our Better Bowls brand name which currently encompasses instant pudding and gelatin mix products. You can see our current product line and find out more about our company at http://www.betterbowls.com.
One sub-line is focused on our use of natural and gluten-free ingredients with secondary benefits of better nutrition. This product should be able to fit in at a Whole Foods store and the product should appeal to Moms with kids aged 6-12 and should be more fun in it's appeal.
The second sub-line is focused on the products being sugar-free and having a higher nutritional content. This item is focused on Women 45+, generally without young kids in the household, who are concerned about diabetes and/or weight management though they are not buying medicine as much as a better option to a product they remember fondly from their childhood.
Both products need to communicate strong appetite appeal and should just focus on chocolate pudding in both the sugar-free and natural varieties. The design, however, should also allow for future product line extensions such as with a broad selection of flavors, including chocolate/vanilla pudding and strawberry/orange gelatin mix (all in natural and/or sugar-free/Splenda varieties).
I have attached graphics of our current products which I think are somewhat medicinal, boring and lacking in appetite appeal, even for the sugar-free line. It is also important that shoppers should also have minimal risk of confusing a natural for a sugar-free item.
