Rockochet is : The World's first and only rock and debris deflector for skateboards. Safety, without the loss of performance! Rockochet is spring loaded to move out of the way when performing tricks. It is also designed to rise up over uneven riding surfaces like cracks in the sidewalks.
Target audience: 70% of all skateboarders are 5-14 years old so parents buying for young children is the biggest target. Also, college kids riding around campus would be another major target.

I am looking for product packaging for the deflector. The deflector itself measures 8 3/4'' long x 1 3/4'' tall x 3 3/4'' deep. You can see it in action at http://www.rockochet.com or on Facebook to see more video's. Since this product is a first of it's kind the packaging must not only stand out but clearly show what it does without a lot of word's. Parents who have never skateboarded before must be able to understand what it is and why it is needed. I was thinking of a clear section that displays the deflector on the bottom of the packaging but, you have 100% freedom to create this packaging as if it was your product. The goal is to get this product in big box stores so understanding shelf space is competitive this packaging must not be to large. just big enough to hold the product and show what is is. Not sure if the person designing this product has ever been on a skateboard but when the wheels hit a rock, the board stops instantly and the rider goes flying off. the result could be minor scrapes and bruises to life threatening injuries. That is what we are trying to prevent. Our slogan if you want to incorporate it is Ride Free
