1) The first part to this design is a wax feature on top of the jar: red wax that spills over the seal. We would like to press a fancy cursive 'L&L' into the wax on the top of the jar. We can have a stamp made using the font from this design. The cap of the war can be black or white, as shown in the attachment.
2) The second part to this design is the label, which must include each of the fields included in the attachment "label requirements". This document also shows the information needed in the front, versus the back of the jar. Outside of a cursive "Lamoureux & Leigh", the font should be regular, or at least not cursive...
We are looking for a modern take on an apothecary-style label. Many modern (gin, whiskey) liquor company are using this style today, which became obvious when I chose the generated-designs I liked at the beginning of this 99Design brief.
A package concept and label concept is also included, which I hope illustrates the very basics of this style. We also have a photo of the two owners positioned in front of the garden in an 'American Gothic' type fashion. We plan to edit or illustrate this photo for use on the website, but I wanted to include it here in case there is a way to use it in the label.
3- The final piece to this project is the outer packaging. We cannot sell a product with cannabis visible through the packaging, so we must put something around this glass jar to hide the cannabis. The outer container must have the same written content as the "label requirements". We are open to ideas, but a box seems most practical.
Let the creative juices flow!
