Background: Wine cellar Klet Brda from sLOVEnia is selling wines on American market since 1979. And Avia wines are the ones that sell the most/ best. Avia wines are fresh and fruity and are produces in beautiful wine region Goriška Brda in SLovenia next Italy. Wines are sold in wine stores, retail, bars and restaurants, gas stations is US (not everybody has the whole range). Our most sold wine is of course Pinot Grigio. Wines were also awarded several times in domestic and international wine competitions such as Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, etc. Avia wines are sold only in US market. Buyer: Avia consumer is not wine expert, but he enjoys Avia wines on different occasions, by dinner, lunch, barbeque, picnic, etc. He usually knows a few varieties but not he whole range. Range Avia has: a) 750ml b) in 1.5L c) and transport packages. Design Avia had several redesign from the start, bellow you'll find a few of them: At the moment we are selling wines, that have one graphical visual but four different color modifications: a) yellow - green (PG, sauv blanc) d) yellow - orange, (ch, riesling) e) Rose (sweet red wine, sweet rose) f) Red (merlot, cab sav, pinot noir, sau&merlot) Graphical instructions: - We would like to keep logotype AVIA – so the word AVIA is untouchable, we would like to keep it as it is. However, you can keep the circle around it or you can dismiss it. - Graphical symbol that we kept all this year is tree, and we think we need to keep it as well. You can keep it as it is, you can redesign it (make it more modern, more applicable, more trendy). We would like to have a clear, simple graphical symbol that we could use in communication, advertising, etc (like foot from Barefoot wines). - Please be aware, that the front label should not look more expensive as 10 USD (as wine is selling in price range between 7 USD and 10 USD). - We would like label to be fresh, fruity like our wines, at the same time it should not look foolish, childish…it should like like it comes from serious wine cellar. - The label should work well on the shelf as we don't have much advertising, so it should sell itself. - On the front label we should have the space where we put our benefits: hand-picked, vegan friendly, sustainable production… Or you can predict space where to put this benefits on additional label above, bellow, next to front label – whatever you think works best. - Mandatory elements are: o Logo Avia o What wine are we talking about: Pinot Grigio or Cabernet Sauvignon o Stating benefits: Hand-Picked - Paper we should have in mind for this label is MatWine – as we are talking about large quantities and long and difficult transport from wine cellar to the shelf. - You can predict some color foil, etc…but keep in mind that the bottles are next to each other during transportation and are rolling all the time (they are one, next to another) and should not be damaged. - Limitations: we can't have the label that goes 360 around the bottle, we can't have transparent foil, we don't want split label (in two pieces, we can add sticker that is ok), - After we pick the winning design, we will do the wine conveyor chart (we usually have one for white wines and one for red wines). - We would like to have one graphical design and keep four color modification as we had it till know – Color modification should be clear so we see which wine we are talking about, so the consumer will find his favorite wine bottle fast whether that is cabernet sauvignon or merlot (so he won't be confused).

I attached the existing format of the front label and the dimensions of the bottle we use. We would like to have new label on that bottle, but the size of the front label can be changed so it fits to the new design layouts.
