Our main objective is to emphasize the "shield" and header (seen in picture #1). This aspects of the design will not change as we add products although the pictures and information below it will.
We have attached a few competitor examples with details that we like.
We like several aspects of the following examples:
Picture #2 - Like the shield in the left corner.
Picture #3 -
#1 Like the bold blue box with white lettering
#2 Like the unclose picture of woman sleeping…she looks comfy and peaceful
A good design but ours need to have a "human" aspect to them.
Quick examples I sketched with some ideas. I am not a designer and these designs are awful so don't copy them but just use them as a guide.
We need to include the following icons with descpritions
100% moisture proof
Blocks Dust Mites
We also need to have the following script….with small icons if possible (not too clutter)
*100% BREATHABLE TERRY COTTON SURFACE
*FREE OF PLASTICS, PVC, PHTHALATE
*FITTED SHEET STYLE
*100% MOISTURE PROOF
First, we are focused on the "shield" and "header" to the left of the shield. These will be our brand/logo that we will use over several products in the same genre.
Secondly, we need to communicate the benefits with graphics…i.e...the three icons.
Third, we need the sub benefits…i.e.…the 5 bullet points above.
Fourth, we need we need human pictures of people in a bead….but don't spend too much time on this…. it is least important and we will help pick a final picture.
Finally, we will need a rendering of the design in the packaging similar to picture #4
Our goal with this packaging is for it to:
1. Be bold and obvious in what it is.
2. Have the logo/header that is recognizable over several products in the same genre.
3. Be aesthetically appealing
4. Not cluttered
Keep in mind that 80% of our customer base are woman 30-60years of age.
Thanks a ton and don't hesitate to ask any questions if you need clarification.
