At a minimum, the front should contain the product name (Ultra Durable Chew Ring), the phrase "Lifetime Replacement Guarantee" , and the phrase "Large Dogs & Aggressive Chewers". The back should contain more info on our product details, our guarantee, and product reviews.
Product Reviews are our best asset and one of our main selling points (along with our lifetime replacement guarantee), and we would like to make these the feature of the back of the card. When designing, you can use 250 character dummy text in place of the reviews, and we can provide specific reviews to be added in upon choosing the final design. We want to include as many reviews as possible while avoiding the packaging feeling "crowded" and "cluttered".
The front of the packaging should stand out on retail shelves, grab peoples' attention, and make them want to pick up the item and turn to the back for more info.
We would also like include other information about our product where there is space such as "Unique Industrial Strength Rubber Compound", and "Safe & Non-toxic: made only of natural rubber and FDA Approved materials"
Regarding imagery and design, I want to give you as much creative freedom as possible as long as it fits our brand. When people view our brand or our packaging, they should instantly get the vibe of toughness, durability, and premium quality. You are welcome to use images if they fit well with the design and help portray this vibe.
Also, since this is a backer card and the dog toy will be zip-tied, please keep in mind where the product and the zip-tie will be located on the packaging when assembled.
We are using a 4-color process with AQ coating. This design is for one product, and we have at least 2 other products we will need designs for very soon too; if we choose your design, we would like to discuss the option of transposing the same design elements to our other dielines.
Please feel free to reach out to us directly if there are any questions or any clarification needed.
P.S. We've previously used header cards attached to poly bags for packaging. I have attached examples of 2 of our previous (amateur) packaging designs for reference. These are for your reference only to show where we are coming from. While I feel these old designs portrayed the image we were going for, they lack visual appeal and do not stand out on retail shelves enough.
