Our product is a lightweight manual breast pump used to catch a nursing mother's letdown (leakage) from one breast while her baby is nursing from the opposite breast. It can also be used to relieve engorgement. The pump is made using toxin-free food-grade silicone. We source our pump from the same factory that sells the world's premiere silicone breast pump, and we want our packaging to reflect the high qualtity of our product.

We’re completely uncreative Baby Boomer scientists, and are seeking a talented creative to redesign our current box packaging.
We’re fine going way edgier with the design to capture more sales from our Millennial nursing-mother demographic. They seem to like minimalist designs. We tried to be different than our competitors by showing the pump upside down with breast milk pouring out of it, rather than a boring shot of it standing upright, or worse, floating on a sea of milk (as one of our competitors does). If you can think of a more creative or playful way to show the pump on the front face of the box, definitely go for it.
Feel free to include your name as the designer somewhere on the box, if that doesn't violate 99designs.com policy. We’re fine with that. We feel that you should get public recognition for your work.

We'd like a new design that will help distinguish us from our competitors on Amazon. As you can see from the photos showing our competitors packaging, the bar is set pretty low.
We’d like to use the blue, mauve, and white colors shown in this image file or some close variant of these colors, as well as the darker blue color used as the background in the current design.
We want to place our logo somewhere on the front face, in addition to the top face. Feel free to move the letters in 'moon' closer together. We’d also be grateful if you could fix the color gradient across the half moon so that it’s a lot smoother. When the moons are printed on the box, there are clear vertical striations in the color gradient on the half moon. We'd welcome some creativity with the logo on the front face. We're open to getting way edgier. Maybe the letters and moons in the logo can be placed along a single horizontal line, rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise, then placed so that the letters/moons run vertically up the front left edge of the box? We're looking for bold experimentation with the logo, because we're selling to fairly sophisticated Millennial moms and it takes a lot to catch their eyes. The font used for the logo letters is abeatbyKai.
Again, we were trying to be different by showing the pump tilted upside-down on the front face, with milk pouring out of it, to avoid a boring image of an upright pump like the ones in this zip file and on pretty much every pump box being sold on Amazon. If you think we need to show an upright pump on the front face, can you think of a more unique way to show it? Maybe tilt it over so that it's leaning against something? Like against the side of a diaper bag? Or a set of keys? This is where your creativity could really set you apart. Astonish us with your vision!
Our instructions on the box include this image, but the black and red don't work well with the pastel colors, so the image probably needs a major color edit to at least remove the black background
Can be added to the instruction face if there's enough room. But maybe fewer photos are better?

Need at least one photo showing that the lid included is yellow.
The barcode on the back of the current box is sized way too small and needs to be scaled up by at least 50% because Amazon is complaining that their workers often have a hard time scanning our shipments in.
We like swirly lines like the ones under the evenflow logo. Maybe use these kinds of lines to break up the design a little where neccessary, but please convert to colors in the color palette we show in ColorsWeWantToUse.jpg (pallete also includes the dark blue from the background of the current box).
For text on the box (instructions, materials, etc.), we'd like to use a font different from the font used for the logo letters. Something unique, like this. But if fonts like this make the text unreadable, use Lato font instead.
We like the font used for 'RAPUNZEL'. We're willing to get edgy on the font because we feel it's the one place you can take risks without it dominating the entire design. But maybe sleeker, more modern fonts are better for this demographic. We have no clue.
We had to comply with FDA regulations and register our pump as a medical device, so we'd like to add this icon or something similar. If you could modify the black to be the dark blue on the current box, that would be helpful.
The photo of the mother on the left face of our current box was chosen because it's royalty-free, but we probably need a photo showing a more sophisticated young mom so that our typical female millennial buyer can relate to the mother in the image. tbh, we don't really like how the photos of mothers and babies on the boxes of our competitors dominate the front box face. If you can think of a more subtle way to show a nursing mother and baby that doesn't hijack the entire front face of the box, please go for it!
