LigTaas! is a typhoon prep app concept that helps citizens copy before, during, or after typhoons—given how prevalent it is in the Philippines. LigTaas is a play on a combination of Filipino words “Ligtas (Free from danger)” and “Taas (Above)”. The app’s main features include a map/locator for key points/places, a news tab that collates news/reports from legitimate sources, and a supplies locater/purchasing feature among others. Complementary mobile responsive websites were also rendered to go with the app.
The goal was to create an app that includes a map/locator for key points/places (using GPS), a news tab that collates news/reports from legitimate sources, and a supplies locater/purchasing feature among others. Other features include FAQs during typhoons, a “I am safe” button, as well as integration of help to those victimized by typhoons.")

Apart from their affordable prices, they offer various customizations and designs for their cakes. The website concept was to render a mobile responsive website for them as they primarily relied soley on social media to garner sales and marketing.
The website was designed with Filipino sweeth-tooths in mind. Foundational research such as interviews, and competitive audits were initially done prior to the ideation of the website. Some pain points include a lack of photos and details with websites in the past, overall UI hard to use, presence of bugs, and overall inefficient ordering processes.
Usability testing was also conducted during various phases of the development of the app to further enhance the app and fit user needs.")

Is a mobile app concept for a pet food company (of the same name) that offers pet meals made of fresh and natural ingredients. Apart from just being a typical shopping app, it allows for meal customization, as well as options to re-orders (which a lot of apps here lacked).
The app was designed with Filipino pet owners in mind. Foundational research such as interviews, and competitive audits were initially done prior to the ideation of the app. Some pain points in existing platforms include a lack of a re-order/history, lack of visualization (photos in particular to visualize the meals), and a lack of customization. Insights gathered acted as the foundation for the structure and overall experience of the application.
Usability testing was also conducted during various phases of the development of the app to further enhance the app and fit user needs.

It also has a built-in training tool such as a dog clicker to aid the training process.")

The series aims to raise and spread awareness on the phenomenon of disinformation in East Asia and how it negatively impacts the life of people, communities, and nations.
With the current news and events in our country and all over the world, this has never been more timely. Based on the workshop insights, I designed five stand-alone but related infographics focused on the following disinformation sub-themes: Sources of disinformation, Methods of spreading disinformation/of controlling information, Disinformation leads to greater problems, Targets of disinformation, and Civil society initiatives to combat disinformation")

This was utilized across websites and Facebook to reach more audiences. The goal was to make road safety interesting and easy to understand, hence the use of a friendly, cartoonish color theme and illustration style.")
