They needed a major design overhaul. Their WordPress site was very bland visually, so it was our goal to make their Squarespace site visually appealing.
I accomplished a visually dynamic presentation on their new Squarespace website by incorporating large, full-width photos, icons, and interactive photo link blocks.
Besides giving their content visual appeal, the use of intentional separation with different background colors also gave their content a better purpose and organization. And, of course, the use of proper text hierarchy and font selection brings everything together in a professional, cohesive, and well-flowing presentation.

To accomplish a first-rate, professional presentation of their content, I created unique layouts of sections with shape dividers, text and banner overlays, and graphic icons. To give viewers a seamless, engaging experience, I created an organized, filtering archive of their recipes and anchor links that direct viewers to specific sections of long-form pages.

He realized that to get the most out of his marketing dollars, he would need to link his ads to landing pages that were well organized, professional-looking, and intuitive for potential customers.
He paid someone to design a static image of the landing page and wanted to convert the mockup to a working Squarespace webpage. To pull this off, I had to recreate graphics, find and optimize stock photography, and code standard Squarespace elements to function and display the way he desired. We also made some changes and improvements to the designer's original concept.
We are gradually redesigning his entire site to ensure that everything is on the same design level throughout.

Squarespace already does a great job with its responsive design, but I took it even further by coding elements to display best on mobile. I created a logo and brand identity for Ava that is warm, soothing, and welcoming. The website has very clear calls-to-action, purposefully picked and optimized stock photography, and a clean and cohesive layout.
