The contest holder asked for something that looked almost painted, so I blended several images together and touched them up so they looked somewhat like a painting. The original book was made into a major motion picture movie. I took elements from the story line which was about a girl with an illness falling down a hollow tree and coming out of it illness-free. I made the design appear heavenly as part of her experience was going to heaven. I wanted to give the impression of heaven and earth and so I faded out part of the girl to try to express that.")

The colors of the design was to match that of the title and colors of the sun, be it rising or setting.")
