My concept was compare the \"predicting winner\" process to find shapes in the clouds, because even when yo find one, that would last a few moments and change.
The girl in the illustration is looking for the shapes of the logos of the political parties mentioned in the article.")

My concept is based on the right proportions of a goat, but using a pronounced angle to highlight the smile and the cigar, giving character to the goat.
Also kept the coloring simple so the drawing can be appreciated.")

I explore different options to include the elements in the image and start with a dodge truck line draw, so it could have the musical instruments and the lack of wheel.
To highlight the wheel I use the sunset to make the viewer eye go after it.
California is known as a warm place, reflected on the coloring.")

Looking at the way donkey have their mane it remind me of the mohawk, the punk hair style. Punks also use heavy steel capped boots and kicking is one of the donkey's attacks. Also, the punk look is great for an antihero, so I went for it adding the trench coat as a hint for the classic american detective.")

I try to avoid common robot looks, and concentrate on the warfare aspect, that´s why I added the helmet, backpack and \"armor\".
To enhance the \"cyber\" look I add an enhanced reality lens over one eye, a phiber optic weapon represented as a plug, and a wi-fi antenna like a sniper rifle.")

I center the design in the eyes of the gorilla, using the lines of the \"hair\" to highlight the expression and the brow.

I approach the subject seeing the future as a river we cross, in this case jumping from one new app to another. We don´t see dry land ahead because is not certain, and we left the old securities (the nest, the land) behind.
I work near the client, following her advise until I complete change my original idea, but the result work and is a good example of great colaboration and the importance of it.")

Instead of taking the character outside at night, I prefer to play with the nightmares in a bedroom, it is more scary when you think you are on a \"safe\" environment.
I remember when I was a kid and play to find shapes in the shadows, that also help for the inspiration. The worlds of Neil Gaiman (I am a big fan) and Tim Burton also give some shape to the ideas.")

First I take a more agresive approach, more BDSM, but they ask me to lower down. Sketching I got the idea of the girl on leather, but for the coloring I went for the devil costume and then getting the Mic-tail idea was natural.
I use a 50's look font to complete the sexy vintage look, with a hint of Betty Boop and Betty Page.")

In the finals I think about improve that idea with a special taken photograph with the argentinian theme and a wood backgroun where the \"La marca de fuego (firemark)\" album name could be engraved. They like the idea and after a few corrections we got it.")

Two of those characters were a scarecrow and an alien, and those inspired this design. Supposedly an extraterrestrial in disguise who travel to be at the fair.
I use colors associated with earth to the coloring.")
