This project was a follow up to a logomark I designed for Belmont Carrera, a wholesale auto dealer and engine building service provider for Porsche cars.
I knew that I wanted the card to remain minimalist. But in the exploration this circular pattern formed, echoing the Bauhaus and what would branch off into Swiss design in general. This gives a nod to the origins of Porsche design, and some of the parallel threads in the history of graphic modernism that help contextualise its depth and timelessness.
The circular design takes advantage of differential line weighting, to give the sheen of a metallic form, even though the design is simple to print, in being pure white on Merlot Red paper stock.
