My wife, Treasure and I, are leasing a billboard off the side of the freeway. The billboard is not digital, it is the old school kind. The billboard size is 14' x 48'. This is our first billboard and we are trying to capture 75,000 cars per day. We sell real estate, one advantage we have is that we are exclusive agents for Homes For Heroes. It is a program that rewards local Heroes by giving them 25% of our gross commission when they use us, to sell or buy any home. To qualify as a Hero, one must be or have been a: Teacher, Firefighter, Law Enforcement, Medical, Military, First Responder. If someone is going to sell their home or buy a home, they might as well sell with us and not leave thousands of dollars on the table. My wife and I's website is http://www.Joshandtreasure.com We were thinking of keeping the billboard simple with some type of emotional message. We are also thinking of something provocative? Something that stands out and gets our message across. Not sure how this looks, but we are open, my wife and I have become very well known and although we want to be professional, catering to the mass, we want to stand out; we both look sexy and could play on this, even if its just the outfits being risqué, but our message still being professional and too the point. We are not sure what background color or font type would look the best, maybe Optimus Prime or something similar? We need this billboard to POP. We don't think we need too much contact information on the billboard...maybe just our phone number? maybe just the website? We are the #1 Brokerage in two cities (Tracy and Mountain House) of the county (San Joaquin) that this billboard is displayed in. However, the billboard location is NOT in the two cities our brokerage ranks #1 in; can we subliminally work this? The billboard is located across from a new community that was built a couple of years ago, called River Islands, in Lathrop CA 95330. My wife and I live in River Islands so we're hoping some of our community can see this as they leave, choosing to use us to sell their home, if and when that time comes. We like working with buyers, our preference though is working with sellers. Not sure we want to discriminate on which one to work with though. Beside the fact that we are Homes For Heroes representatives, we sell real estate in general. Many who sale are not Heroes and we still work with them, keeping more money in our pocket at the end of the day...People who live in our county usually commute to the Bay Area (SF, San Jose, Silicon Valley, etc.) and the commute is killing them. A lot of people in our county also have jobs that relocate them quite often. At times we have used words like, Buying, Selling, Relocating, Upgrading, Downsizing, Sell Now, Etc.
