I am looking for an Autumn banner for our 66 lightpoles that depict foods you might eat in the autumn. Soup, chowder, coffee/latte, seafood pot, stew.
We have several new restaurants downtown, and I want to support their businesses. I want the banners to be so good that our motorists can smell the soup through the windshield. I would like more than one type of food represented.
I like warm colors for this project, red, yellow orange against a dark background to make the color really pop.
I had our banner company take a crack at this, and I have attached thair artwork for you to see. It is a takeoff from a horizontal banner add I saw in a google image search. Their proposal is pretty good, but just not the full WOW factor that I am looking for. It seems a bit flat to me. As you can see, it includes four separate photos. It is a nice format, but I am open to different formats as well.
I prefer a photo of food over an illustrations unless you can make me salivate with your illustrations.
Alcohol is a sensitive issue at the moment, so no depictions of wine please.
All in all, I want the picture to evoke strong feelings of warmth, coziness, and comfort all in the context of Autumn.
I want the photos/illustrations to do all of the talking without text; however I do like the word "autumn" in the mix.
The banner's physical size is 21"x68.5" including the 4" pockets at the top and bottom. It will be printed on vinyl.
I will attach 4 files, one of the original banner I saw that gave me the idea, one of the proposed artwork from my banner company, and two of the actual setting.
