We choose Windmills of My Mind as it evoked a continual process of thought maturation, the movement of a windmill, the constant recycling and reviewing of thoughts, assumptions, the distribution of air and beliefs throughout those around us.
On a logo we are looking to communicate introspective creativity and the courage to challenge. We are looking for a logo that represents strength of thought and the ability to challenge ones thoughts for the greater good.
On the banner and related images, we are looking to communicate the importance of thought and the breath of scope of the topics we discuss. Science is a key aspect we are hoping to incorporate it into the banner as much of the worlds problems and solutions are inextricably tied up in evolutions of science.
If you are looking for a historical visual, think of a cross between Leonardo da Vinci, Emmanuel Kant, Einstein, Max Plank, Nietzsche, the United Nations, Hideki Tojo, Reagan/Gorbachov, Gandhi, etc., wrapped in a blank of science and technological progress. (If this helps)
