Big Time Breaks is a company which specializes in the sale of trading card case breaks. A case break is where a group of collectors come together, purchase a case of cards and they are then divied up and mailed out to their respective owners. The case breaks are performed live on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc. We use social media to allow people to interact and share their passion of the trading card hobby.
The hobby of trading cards is built around the unknown. There is an excitement to the mystery of opening cards. You could buy a $1000 case of cards and get nothing. You could also buy a $1000 case of cards and get a huge "hit" (autographed, jersey relic, etc). That is why it's important for me to convey fun and energy. Opening packs by yourself is fun, however when you don't get anything good out of the package it stinks. In a group break, you may not receive anything extraordinary, but you get the show and the interaction of friends.

The colors in the logo will be seen on video on a table as well as across a banner. The table will likely be a black mat with the logo printed on it, so it is important that the colors "pop" out.

While we don't necessarily want the Seattle Seahawks logo colors, the way they use bright contrasting colors and make them pop is ideal for this logo.
The logo will be used in the background of all videos. It will also be displayed on the table on a mat. Because of this, it needs to be seen in the videos and pop out. We use the logo for stickers to go over the cards as well as for the website, promotional materials and hopefully merchandise down the road. I have attached a photo of our typical video (BACKGROUND BANNER) as well as a photo of the card showing the stickers that we use (TOP OF TRADING CARD). This will all obviously change once we have completed the logo process, but gives you an idea of how we will use this. We want to try to avoid the use of the "ball" icons or symbols in our logo. The immediate though for designers is to use a baseball in the logo. Please stay away from this thought.
