It's important to split Deus Urbis into two words. Don't cram them together. There should be some type of separator between them.
The name does need to be part of the design. Wordless icons or logos won't work.
Avoid designs that are simply a logo with the brand name underneath. The name and the design should mesh together.
The Voyager design in my Visual Brief selections is the one that stands out the most. It makes the actual name Voyager the logo *and* the name. As opposed to them being two separate things. The format from this example is ideal as it also provides a valid option for an icon later on with the first "o" that has a spear through it.
The Rag Proper one is the second highest stand out.
No need for an "Established 1988" line.

- Other world
