Racer on Rails
Cuéntanos a qué tipo de público quieres llegar
Racer on Rails is a blog/information website we are creating. The point is that we (three founders) have been in motorsport related stuff for a long time and we've done just about everything in motorsports, from getting started with track days, all the way to supporting and driving in professional races. This blog is about creating posts about our past, current and future planned experiences and letting people learn from our mistakes in a fun and light hearted way.
Each article will have a cool story, good content (pictures and videos) and real lessons learned that people can leverage to save money and/or time.
Our target audience is mid-20's to late 40 year old males (some women) who participate or want to participate in motorsport activities like track days, club racing, autocross, rally races, oval racing, etc.

I tend to lean towards stronger/brighter versions of orange, blue, and green.

Diseño de inspiración
Retro style car and the motion aspect.
The simplicity of the logo. One color would be great for future merchandise.
The animal - I like the idea of having an animal being the 'racer'.
The cartoonish style of the character - I can imagine the 'racer' of our logo being a kid/cartoonish character.
The idea of the 'racer' not necessarily being an actual person.
The idea of the 'racer' not necessarily being an actual person and super simple design with not too many colors. Fewer colors is better for merchandise, print and embroidery.
An animal as the logo.
Simple, hipster, cartoonish.
While we want to start with a blog with useful content, we'd like to have a cool logo, design and identity so that in the future, we can potentially create and sell merchandise, sort of like what Ken Block does now with his racing program. http://www.hooniganracing.com/
