Hi. I'm Connor, but I also go by Shrek, Jumbo and The Barbarian Librarian. I write bad TV's shows at my day job, but my real passion is bibliotherapy. I find out where someone is at in their life, identify their obstacles and then I prescribe a book to get them back on track. For the past two years, I've been hosting a bibliotherapy experience through Airbnb. My goal in life is to inspire men to read more and it's time for me to step my game up. The Barbarian Librarian is going to be a website with book related content as well as an Instagram account curated by an ogre-sized content philosopher. Imagine Reading Rainbow on red wine and mushrooms. That's my design brief. The target audience is 18-40 year old guys who DON'T READ SO GOOD. I'm not smart enough to be a real self-help guru, but I think I can steer men away form porn and video games with good book recs.
