FitFables is a story-driven exercise app in which you download and play different audio adventures. Unlike an audiobook, however, the actions in a FitFables adventure are driven by your real-world movement. If the in-story hero needs to walk from the village square to the troll’s cave, it’s your steps that’ll get him there. If the big-city detective needs to run down a perp, it’s your steps in the real world that will see that justice is served.
This app is really open ended. While the above suggests two different story types it’s really a system through which one can play any kind of story from horror to fantasy to science fiction to mystery. It’s as open ended as audiobooks.
The real “thing” is that the user’s steps and decisions in the real world drive the story forward.
When I think of a logo I think of something that catches that “magic” of open ended ness. I originally thought of the concept of “walking a book/story” but even that’s a little limited. The biggest thing to get across in the logo is that the user is moving in the real world and in his or her headphones is a story unfolding that could be anything!

I’m using Chameleon for iOS package. It has its own set of flat colors and I’d like the logo to use them. You can see the palette here:
