Ops Advisor is a highly technical product that analyses the configuration and behaviour of running systems and advises on improvements. The audience is software & infrastructure engineers, software architects and tech leads. The logo will appear on this page, and is expected to stand out: https://landscape.cncf.io/category=observability-and-analysis&format=card-mode&grouping=category. That page has good examples of good and poor logos: Poor logos: * Amazon CloudWatch (too simplistic) * Applications Manager (only text, too much of it) * Blue Matador & Catchpoint (too detailed) Good logos: * Victoria Metrics & LogDNA (good shapes that downscale well and are easy to recognise) * Vector & Weave (strong lines, instantly recognisable)

The primary goal is for this logo to work well online. Dark & white background variants are important. I'm thinking bright colours from the palettes that I've shared. These pages captures the type of experience that will be built around this logo: https://tailwindcss.com/ It is important this this logo can be recognised at small sizes (favicon, 16px). Examples of logos that downscale well: Twitter, Apple & Chanel. Logos that are poor at small sizes: the new Google Suite icons (too many colours) & all Microsoft logos (high fidelity that doesn't downscale well). I would prefer if the words Ops Advisor would be de-emphasised (similar tot he Prometheus or Influx Data logos).
