I like the sleek and clean look, but am open to more fun/ whimsical design if it communicates the idea clearly (blue print, mock-up, trial & error, etc). Please pay special attention to the elements in the examples that I have highlighted. In the Carrier Films logo, I like the interest that the fractionalization causes. I like the sleek, clean look of the Turrano logo. In Heart & Hound, I like the clever use of negative space. The Nest has clean font, yet is still visually interesting. The detail and stylization of Rag Proper.
It's important to keep in mind that all three words (Minimum Viable Media) should all be easy enough to read at all times. I've been seeing lots of really neat designs, but leaving letters out, or hiding them within other letters.
I should also add (now that I see examples rolling in), that I will want to overlay this logo onto things like Instagram and images, so it should be watermark friendly!
Finally, I'm not sure what is happening, but out of 140+ submissions, there seems to very similar design elements everyone is using... connecting the letters, incorporating the vowels into the letters, etc. I will be looking for something unique and professional.
