Strongly leaning towards a circle design. With words either in or around the circle. May lean on words around, but am open.
Lean towards sketchy and black and white, but definitely try some color if you think it needs some.
Classical look, refined.
Want very flowy feel with vines connecting the different crops so it all has a nice flow to it. Should definitely be recognizable as a circle without doubt, but doesn't have to be a perfect circle (probably shouldn't-- a more organic feel), some of the stuff can be hanging off as if to die and drop seed on occasion.
Utilize pictures of common vegetable plants I am showing. Check out pics online of seeds or harvested vegetables I showed that I like. I like dried down seeds, or a dry, harvest look. I also really like carrot flower, perhaps that could be the logo itself for one version? Use as many seeds, fruits and flowers from the ones I show in the pics. I am growing in the company: corn, pea, bean, squash (butternut or small pumpkin), cherry tomatoes, hot pepper, sweet pepper, ground cherry, carrot, potato, kale, as well as the plant flowers I added for some of these fruits.
Flowers could include pea flower, pepper flower, potato flower, mustard flower and carrot flower.
It sounds like I want something busy, but I would actually prefer something that might be a little busy but comes off as a simple logo without too much fine detail. Something showing the varieties of plants and seed ready to harvest.
I have something in mind described below, but please feel free to also do something else! I also like patterns of seeds if done in a simple way, or something new and different in a circle design.
My main idea is a wreath of intertwining vegetables with offshoot vines and leaves in black and white. the vegetables as many as you can fit from the ones I mention above. Don't have to repeat anything, if you do, maybe pea or bean as that looks generic. I want something with a simpler look and that would look good on a hat, recognizable.
I think pea and bean vines would work well with the vine concept if you go this route. Sunflower seeds are pretty too, but this might be getting too busy to incorporate everything. Use your descresion and your style to help formulate what you would like to see as well from everything I wrote.
Another thought. My company is located in the North where it is cold. I wouldn't want snow or icicles or anything like that, but if that helps in anyway just to know that for the lettering or anything, I could potentially see a very slightly and subtly frosty lettering work, or something else that subtly shows the region. I'm also in Minnesota, but that doesn't hold too much relevance either to the logo, but is a part of the company focus and just info that maybe helps create a mindset. Thanks for reading and please let me know if you have any questions!!
