Help me Design a logo and layout for useful and distinctive business cards, stationary, advertising services for clinical psychology practice serving parents of children with autism. Whimsy and sophistication with color and visuals that communicate Hope and Trust for parents who are searching for treatments that will put the light back in their child's eyes.
Jennifer White-Baughan Ph.D.
I am a Ph.D. trained clinical psychologist with a background as a registered nurse. I did trauma work for 17 years in refugee populations both domestically and internationally. My life has taken me around the globe to such places as Cambodia, Sri Lanka after the tsunami to Sierra Leone, West Africa to train those who work with child soldiers. At the age of 57 I am embarking on a new passion melding my experience working with children as a psychologist and a decade in nursing. My work will be with a private practice specializing in an intervention for autism which works with the parents as the delivery agents of developmental relational skills and working with a not for profit which serves the under served autism population.
I want a logo, color theory and layout which is distinctive, sophisticated, elegant and a bit of whimsy. The intervention I am working with teaches parents to slow down and seeks to help them feel competent again. Autism can push a parent to their limits and the standard health care system has left them with little hope that they can help their children remediate. Autism is on the rise and it affects more boys than girls. Parents watch as the light goes out of their child's eyes at around 18-24 months. Children who spoke in full sentences now cannot speak or echo only what they hear. Some are in constant gastro-intestinal pain and are not able to communicate. Parents are bewildered by the medical systems and physicians often are not prepared to help by education or by good research to inform them.
Please help me with a thoughtful and creative way to offer HOPE to these families.
Thank You
