Style/theme ideas for the t-shirt design:
My goal is to have t-shirts for my small manufacturing company that has a vintage style to it. I want shirts that my employees not only want to wear to work, but that they will want to wear outside of work to a restaurant, bar, etc. Something they can wear with jeans or khaki shorts and it looks really good, to the point where someone see's it and thinks, man, that looks like a shirt I would actually buy off the rack.
I do like the idea right now of some distressed designs. We will be digitally printing these shirts instead of screen printing.
I am also interested in some play on words if someone feels so inclined. We manufacture equipment that removes water from the air (desiccant dehumidifiers). So any play on words that mention water, H2O, dry air, etc. would be welcomed.
I am also interested in designs that aren't extremely bold. I want the design to be subtle, not BOLD and in your face. There are some Heating and Air Companies out there that give their workers t-shirts that read "Bob's HVAC" right on the chest or back and it's BOLD and it looks cheap to me. I don't want that.
Some other ideas other than the ones that are in the pictures below that I'm interested in:
- Camouflage as part of our logo
- American Flag as part of our logo
- I do like the idea of paint runs on our logo. I think that looks cool. I'd like to see designs on that.
- Our company name abbreviated is IAT. It would be nice to incorporate that into some designs.
- Maybe a design with the Earth on it.
I am open to multiple design winners if there are designs that we fall in love with. Our goal is to provide Innovative Air Technologies with design ideas for many different shirts.
