yes, we want a caricature theme for the t-shirt. Something humorous, and/or "fun." It is our 25th anniversary for this event. We want that to be a big part of the theme T-Shirt. The event is a "Fly-in." Pilots and aircraft owners from all over the state of Texas and other neighboring states, even some from Mexico, fly in to our private grass landing strip with their World War II Bi-Wing Airplanes. There are other aircraft that fly in as well, but the main airplane will be the Stearman Bi-Wing airplane. The theme for the main airplane on the T-Shirt should be a WWII Stearman. I will provide a photo of the main airplane so you can get an idea of how to draw the character airplane. We would like other airplanes caricatured on the T-Shirt too, but the main airplane should be a Stearman. I will provide photos of the "other" airplanes as well. To give you a "feel" for the event, pilots will be flying in and "buzzing" the airfield like barnstormers. The name of the event is "Under-the-Wire Fly-In" because in the early days of our little airport, there were power lines that crossed the runway and the pilot had to land either under the wires, or over the wires. This should be included in the caricature drawing. The wires are gone now, but the name of the event remains. We have a logo for the Flying V Ranch (name of the airport) The airport ID is T26 (This is the ID that would be used by a pilot to find the airport, much like LAX, DFW, JFK, etc.) We want the airport ID and the name of the airport (Flying V Ranch) somewhere in the caricature drawing. I will provide a photo of our ranch logo. We would like the ranch logo to be on the front pocket if pocket T-Shirts are available. The winning caricature will go on the back of the T-shirt. We live in the country, there are lots of big trees that line the runway on one side, we have lots of rice fields around us, there are giant mosquitos, dove season coincides with the fly-in, Robbie mows the runway with a tractor, he is an airplane restoration craftsman, I have provided a picture of Robbie and Vicki. If you use those photos to create a caricature, please don't accentuate Robbie's facial features too much. He is shy and has requested that no caricature be "demeaning" to him. Again, he is a "sensitive" individual. Admittedly, he has some great facial features that could be great in a caricature, but keep it fun.
