We are looking for designers with experience in creating designs for screen-printed or dye-sublimated apparel.
We are designing a new clothing line for a major rock & roll personality ("Client") who is a member of a heavy rock band with over 10 million followers on Facebook. The line will contain 10 t-shirt designs, ranging from all over dye sublimation to standard screen prints. Our in-house designers have already created several, but we're excited by what could happen if you unleash the creative talent at 99designs onto a project like this.
For this project, we want ONE design and YOU get to choose the kind of canvas you want to work on: (1) full dye-sublimation designs can cover the entire t-shirt, from front-to-back, sleeves & all, or (2) a traditional screen-print design that covers a specific rectangular area on the front / back (or both).
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS: All designs must feature the Dread™ brand logo font (will be provided), though it need not be prominent in the design.
DYE-SUB TECH SPECS: Dye sublimation designs must be front and back and files must be a minimum of 36" wide at 300dpi. Designers who choose to create an all-over design will need to use our template (which shows edge & bleed marks for the shirt). Designs must be in CMYK. Remember that the dye-sublimation process is incapable of printing white ink, so all designs are printed on white tees (any white areas on your design are effectively transparent). Designs can cover as much of the front and back of the shirt as you like.
SCREEN PRINT OR DIGITAL PRINT TECH SPECS: Screen or digital prints may be full color CMYK or spot color. The image area is a maximum of 15 wide by 19 tall at 300dpi, front and/or back. Vector accepted.
FINAL NOTE: Though we can only pick one final winner from 99designs, we anticipate that we may want to purchase more than one from this contest.
