Yes. The company is Good Karma Good. The underlying message for the company is that we can all make a difference, and we should take positive actions, to make the world a better place. The theme I'm thinking is for every shirt to have similar big, round lettering (more on font below) and then an image, faded in some way, in the background. I am not a designer, so I might be saying this technically incorrect, but for the "faded" image, either a distressed look, e.g. with only some of the design "ink" showing through, or a transparent (translucent?) effect, or some other way to push it into the background. It was be anywhere from less prominent than the lettering to practically obscure.
For the font, I'm thinking of big, rounded letters. I have found some paid versions I like (Report Bold, VAG Rounded Pro Bold, Volte Rounded Semi Bold, Rooney Sans Bold, and TT Rounds Neue Bold), but I am sure there are some free versions as well. Use whatever you want.
The saying on this shirt will be: "One Planet. One People." The background image will be a globe. I am not married to any way to lay this out, other than I want the globe to be in the background. The lettering can include capitals and periods, like I typed above, or not. It can be one line, straight across, chest high. Two lines. Justified both left, or one line left and the line right. Rounded around the globe, at top, or top and bottom. One in the middle of the globe and Planet and People displayed some other way. The globe can be total or partially obscured by the lettering.
Really, this layout part is why I'm doing a contest. I have an idea for a continuing theme of all of the GKG shirts. So the first one has to be perfect. But I have too many ideas of what is perfect, so I'd like to be inspired by choices, and then pick a winner.
For what it's worth, other future Good Karma Good shirt sayings will include "Be Kind", "Kindness Matters", "We're all in this together", "Generosity is Contagious", "Inspire Someone". In keeping with what I said above about the message of the company, I think you get the idea.
For the globe image, I'm open to however you want to put it in the background. Distressed, using negative space, other? I've enclosed some globe examples from istock. I have not paid for yet, this is more of as an example. If I need to buy an image, let me know. Or you can draw. Again, just trying to find the right combination of the lettering and image that can be the foundation for all GKG shirts to come.
One side note I do know on fonts is Printful doesn't want custom font print files attached, so they've asked that the font be switched to outline/image in Adobe. Not sure what you'll be using for a design tool, but I'm thinking best to switch to the image/outline at your design stage.
