The shirt is for a martial arts school. The shirt should feature a large graphic that would go on the back, and a smaller graphic for the left chest pocket area. The name of the school is “Seven Beasts Martial Arts”. The school teaches a Mandarin Chinese martial art called Shou Shu that incorporates the movements of seven different fighting animals. Traditionally our shirts have featured caricatures of the animals in a circle in the following order: Bear, Tiger, Mongoose, Crane, Mantis, Cobra, and Dragon. Sometimes within the center of the circle there is either a graphic of a dragon or a Chinese symbol (Mandarin Chinese), maybe dragon, power, or something similarly intimidating. The animals should look menacing (if it’s possible to make a praying mantis or a crane look menacing that would be good and interesting). I'm uploading our current t-shirt design which has our parent school's name, but we want one that just has our "Seven Beasts Martial Arts" name on them. It shouldn't look exactly like the uploaded photos, otherwise we would just print more with the name change right? I'm uploading to draw inspiration, but not imitation, it can pay homage, but feel free to get creative.
The name of the school and the art itself should be on both the back and the front of the shirt, “Seven Beasts Martial Arts” and “Shou Shu”. On the front of the shirt it could be the animal graphics with only the school’s name if it’s too hard to fit all those words in. If the lettering has an Asian flair about it, please be sure that it is easy to read. Don't take that to mean it should have an Asian flair - modern design is best.
