First of all, thanks for taking the time to review my project. It’s very important to me because, as you’ll see, the design pertains to multiple sclerosis – a truly dreadful disease. The love of my life, my wife, is stricken with multiple sclerosis and she’s currently struggling with a bad relapse associated with the disease. I’ve formed a team to participate in a fundraising walk to help find a cure and hopefully lift her spirits.
Now, about the shirt. Here are some of my thoughts, but I leave it to you talented folks to suggest modifications as you may think appropriate:
• I’d like the color of the shirt to be charcoal gray;
• Our registered team name is: Kristen’s Cure Crusaders. I’d like that to appear on either the front or back of the shirt;
• Additionally, I’d like the following phrase to appear on either the front or back: I wear Orange for my ________ & MS awareness.
o I think the word “orange” probably needs to be colored orange since that may be the only orange on the shirt. Again, however, I’m open to suggestions.
o I’m going to have 15 people of the team with different relationships to my wife. So I’d appreciate if the winning bidder could substitute the following in the blank space – wife, mommy, aunt, sister, BFF, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, daughter, niece. Same t-shirt design, just a substitution of the word in the blank.
o Also, I’d sincerely appreciate seeing a slight design variation on the word “wife” for my shirt. I’d like something very slight that makes it a bit distinctive from the other shirts. For example, maybe the word “wife” could incorporate a heart for the dot portion of the letter "i" in wife (but I think a heart, to be honest, sounds a bit cheesy, so it’d have to be something done very well to catch my eye). Big thing is that I want the difference to be extremely minimal, but it would be great if my love for her could somehow be simply signified in the word “wife.”
I think that’s it. For those of you who choose to participate, I can’t thank you enough. You’re helping my wife more than you know & you’re contributing to a great cause!
