Going for a movie poster design with a focus on a badass character that's about to be involved in some messed up stuff. I've attached a REALLY rough sketch to help with my descriptions.
- Guy in the center. You see his back. He's got maybe a gun in one hand, maybe drugs or a bag of money in the other.
- Guy is heading down a dark alley or maybe a empty street. Post apocalyptic ominous world .
- Fill the space with things you would find in this situation... drugs, busted car on fire etc.
- Would love to work in a scraggly looking cat some where in that situation.
We really want to get the feeling that he's either the cause of the chaos or he's about to enter it.
"As Heard On" [no quotes] is small and at the top. The word portion of the logo (THE NEWS JUNKIE) is below that, at the top.
Title section of the poster should read, "HE BAD" [no quotes]
Below the movie title, where the actors names and producers etc get credit, we'd like you to just put Produced by, Directed by, Staring etc just like a real poster, but put placeholders as YOUR NAME. We need this area of the poster to be editable font as we are giving away spaces on the shirt as part of a contest.
Below that, where production companies would place logos, we'd like the full News Junkie logo (monkey included this time please) and then the phrase, "ON AIR. ONLINE." and then the website address - http://www.TheNewsJunkie.com
I hope the horrible sketch I've included helps point you in the right direction.
note: the second link... pay attention to the layout of the movie information (title, credits etc.) as this is what we are basing our layout on.
UPDATE: apparently the links to the inspiration are not working no matter how many times I edit them. I've attached the two files to the brief instead.
UPDATE 2: After some deliberation, I'd like to ditch The News Junkie logo
at the bottom of the designs. I'd like to include the NC-17 Rating
label. I've attached an example to the brief.
