We make an app that allows people to earn money for charity when they walk, run or bike. In the past we have done a few "mashup" T-Shirts where we merge our brand into a popular music album. We've done Pink Floyd, Journey and Grateful Dead. Which you can see here...
Grateful Dead: https://shop.charitymiles.org/colle…can-beauty
Pink Floyd: https://shop.charitymiles.org/colle…rity-miles
Now we want to do a Bruce Springsteen mashup. Our idea is to play off the Born In The USA T-Shirt design. I think there are two potential ways to go...
1. Mimic this design (https://www.merchbar.com/rock-alter…gLdM_D_BwE)... But instead of blue jeans, the person (in the same stance) would be wearing blue running shorts. Where the red hat is, we could do a sublte Charity Miles logo (our running heart) either in red or white. At the top, where it says "Born In The USA / Bruce Springsteen" it should say "Born To Run / Charity Miles" in the same font. It should look almost identical to the original shirt and very obvious that we are playing off of it.
2. Mimic this design (https://d9nvuahg4xykp.cloudfront.ne…204197.jpg), but instead of Bruce Sprinsteen with the Guitar it could be a runner, of a very similar body-type in blue running shorts and a white shirt in a similar pose (but running, so the arm positions might be slightly different.) Where it says "Bruce Springsteen and the E. Street Band", I'm not sure what I want it to say... Let's try having it say:
(Skip the line where it says "And The")
Again, the font should be identical to the font used on the original, and it should look as similar to the original as possible.
Those are my two ideas. I'm open to either and any other ideas that you might have if you look up "Bruce Springsteen Vintage TShirts" and see any that you think would make a good mashup for us.
