We are a co-ed, mostly adults group of runners looking for a design for running shirts to be printed -- 2 to three colors that would look good on a white, heather grey (light) or light blue shirt.
On the back of the shirt:
Group name- Whiskey Creek Runners
Fine outline of Whiskey Creek in the background or top/shoulder area (see the uploaded files and use our outline or create your own). The group name might look good inside this outline.
Runners in the foreground, running shoe footprints
The area supposedly has a history of moonshining - maybe work a hint of that into the design (but in a way that it can be omitted if parents want the shirts printed for kids)
These are ideas from brainstorming, so I'm not sure if everything combined would make the shirt look too busy (use your judgement)
Front of the shirt:
A round logo for the upper left chest, with "Whiskey Creek Runners" and "Hollywood, Maryland" around the perimeter. See this contest for a very general idea of the shape we're looking for (preferably with a thinner border):
We don't have a set logo but are looking for runners inside the circle and maybe running shoe footprints in the background/outside of the logo
Additional thoughts - I've mentioned footprints from running shoes as a theme idea on both the front and back of the shirt. Those could be used on one or both arms of long-sleeve shirts.
Also, the design does not need to be intricately detailed. See notes below on what to avoid.
For runners' images, Im thinking of 'silhouettes'. Im making this edit via cellphone and cant figure out how to post a link, but you can find plenty of good examples in google images with the keywords "runners silhouette"
