ListZero.com is looking for a new site design. ListZero provides free to consumer home listings throughout the United States. We have been in the real estate/housing market for years and are looking for a site design that fits today’s online listing markets.
General Overview: Think clean and functional. The site will hold many real estate listings but we don’t want end users to get overloaded with information. There needs to be a place reserved on each page for a banner ad to be placed, most likely 300px X 250px. Also, a “related businesses” section designed for displaying a list of businesses in the area the user is searching in(real estate agents, title companies, etc...) Each page needs to include site wide navigation (Buyers, Sellers, Advertise, My Account/Login,etc...) We are asking for 5 page designs which are detailed below.
1) Home Page: Overall this page is very basic. It will be similiar to a groupon style approach where you are presented with a single form field to enter the city, state, or zipcode to search for. The page will also obviously include the logo, and links like buyers, sellers, advertise, register, and login. Sites to look at for this page layout:
2) Search Results Page: This is the meat and potatoes of the site! This page needs to include the following items:
Single input box for entering a City,State or Zip to search for
Please keep in mind that the Map view can be toggled “on” or “off” depending on whether the end user wants to just see the listings or see both the listings and the map.
Advanced Search area
Grid/List view of real estate listing search results
Each listing in the search results should include:
More Info Link
Ad space(as mentioned above)
Related businesses area(as mentioned above)
3) Individual Listings Page: This page is where an individual property listing is shown in greater detail. You can reference just about any real estate website to see what data is presented on an individual listing page. Our page will include similar data, it will just be Awesomer!! This page should include the following:
Image gallery of Property photos - Gallery/Thumbnail style
Keep in mind that some home owners upload upwards of 40 photos so the thumbnails will need to have scrolling functionality.
Main Listing details (beds, baths, sqft, address, lot size, etc...)
Listing Subordinate details (sqft breakdowns, schools, home amenities, etc..)
Related businesses area
Contact Seller area
4) My Account Page: This page is where registered users will manage their listings and advertising campaigns. This page should include:
A dashboard style area for viewing analytical data and charts
Current listing table showing listings that they have added to their account
Related Businesses Area
