-- Homepage --
The homepage must have the following elements:
1) Interface to allow visitor to immediately price compare pushchairs. The criteria we will offer on the homepage are: price range (checkboxes/sliders), brand/model/keyword (text input), features (we’ll need to define a small list of most commonly sought after features. Regardless of the actual values, the user will select features using checkboxes or similar UI element).
When the user submits the form they are on, they will be redirected to the search results page.
2) Recent articles. We’ll want to display links to any articles that we’ve recently posted to the site.
3) Top 10 pushchairs. We’ll have direct links to our top 10 best selling pushchairs on the homepage. Clicking on the links to the pushchairs will take the user to the product detail page.
-- Pushchair Details --
This page will show the pushchair in detail, with all related technical specifications, an image gallery, potentially videos to reviews of the pushchairs if we have them, links to articles related to the pushchair if there are any.
Most importantly, and above the fold, there must be an area that shows the different retailers offering the pushchair and the prices at which they are being offered for. Obviously the lowest price retailer will appear at the top of the list. Each retailer/price should have a buy button, but the lowest price one will be more prominent.
It’s no necessary for all prices to be displayed on page load. For example, the lowest price retailer, price and buy button could be displayed on page load, with the other retailers appearing on mouse over/click.
-- Search Page --
The search page will allow the user to search across the different pushchairs on the site. We will be using a faceted navigation for our search page. The user should be able to easily select filters that they want applied to their search, and for any filters that have already been selected to be displayed to the user so that it is obvious what has been selected (see look.com in our insipring websites section for an example of the type of navigation we aim to have).
Search results should show the name, price and image of the product. Clicking a search result will direct the user through to the product detail page.
