We are looking solely for a homepage design. The objective of the homepage is to encourage the visitor to call and schedule a free consultation at one of our franchises. Currently, we only have a 2% conversion rate--meaning that only 2% of the visitors to our website schedule a consultation. With the new homepage, our goal is to increase the conversion rate to at least 4%. Additionally, we are looking to decrease our bounce rate, increase the amount of time spent on the site and increase the percentage of returning visitors.
WHAT WE WANT:
The most important information that needs to be conveyed is that our consultations are free and that there is a money-back guarantee. In the past, we have used this information to convince site visitors to schedule their evaluation. We are in the process of developing an online scheduling system, but it is still important to have the telephone numbers highly visible on the homepage. The reason for this is that our main demographic are senior citizens, who may prefer to reach for their phone as opposed to try and figure out an online scheduling system. However, we would also like the website to help us garner the attention of athletes as well, which are part of a younger demographic. Our current website employs the use of a rotating banner, which we would like to keep on the new website. Please also allocate a space for a video and a contact form. We currently have both on the existing website. Please also include social media buttons for Facebook, Twitter, Formspring and Orkut. We welcome any ideas that involve interactivity.
WHAT WE DO NOT WANT:
Our page should in no way resemble the Brazilian Dr. Scholl's webpage. They are our main competitor. Given our demographic, nothing should be hard to read and the homepage should be easy to navigate.
