The Prairie Club is a destination golf resort located in a rural setting 17 miles from the nearest town — in the middle of Nebraska in the U.S. We opened in 2010 and currently have:
3 golf courses
A 40,000 square foot Lodge with multiple dining areas, two bars, private meeting areas, and lounges
A total of 71 guest overnight hotel rooms — 31 in our Lodge, 28 total in our cabins, and 12 in our new lodging unit that is set to be finished in May of this year
We have built a very high-end and quality resort that has been ranked very highly — one of the top 10 golf resorts in North America by one magazine. Our service, employees, and the entire experience reflects this.
The biggest difference about us is how remote we are and how incredibly peaceful the land and setting is. When guests are out here, they are truly “in the middle of nowhere”. On clear moonless nights, the sky is so clear that the Milky Way can cast a shadow! The feeling of absolute serenity, peace, and escape from the hassles of everyday life are gone when guests are here. The golf, of course, is the main reason that people come — it is considered as good as anywhere in the world and very similar to golf in Scotland, where the game started hundreds of years ago.
Our business model is structured to incorporate both public guests and members, so we are technically “semi-private”. Our public guests enjoy access to a world-class golf resort that they otherwise would not be able to play, and our members enjoy reduced rates on their memberships, because our income from public guests allows us to charge lower membership dues and fees. The website will be heavily geared towards public guests and prospective members, as our members will have their own private site (which is separate from this project and will essentially be a private Wordpress blog).
Our brand seeks to encompass that experience by being rustic, yet high-end and of the utmost quality. We are always authentic in everything we do — nothing is fluff or done merely for show.

Below is some demographic and other information on our customers. In general, our customer is primarily older males who have a very high income and LOVE to golf and travel. They are for the most part not technologically-savvy, but they are increasingly getting there. Almost all of our guests are golfers making “guys trips” with their friends and sometimes business associates (though mostly friends). We are starting to experience more couples (husbands bringing their wives).
