The new site we're launching is called NewsLists. (URL = newslists.co) The basic idea is that we'll keep running lists of things in the news (i.e., Obama Administration Scandals, Trump Administration Scandals, Biggest Developments in the Russia Probe, etc.).
The homepage would show the name of the site, and the main hero/header would be a search bar.
Underneath, there would be some of the lists that have most recently been updated.
The other page should just be one of the list pages. Each list will basically be an Excel table, where there are four columns (Summary, Date, Source, Link). Clicking on an item in the list will expand that row so that it displays a small excerpt from the referenced article. Visitors would be able to sort each table at the top of each column (so the content can be sorted by date/summary/etc.).
The homepage and a typical list page should include blocks for advertising.
On the homepage, there should be a place for users to submit their own ideas for lists.
At the bottom of each list, there should be an empty form so that readers/visitors can add entries to that list.
