We are looking for a centralized dashboard to provide our staff with the ability to view/manage their internal and external communications and operations. This will provide a replacement interface for existing staff currently utilising multiple web services and running Microsoft Exchange on their machines.
The platform we are developing will be focused around one dashboard (singular page making sync calls to pre-fill various areas with data and incorporating popup windows) that will encompass the following features:
Email (Mixing both person and corporate accounts)
Calendar (mixing both personal and shared entries) - Showing a monthly overview as well as a list of tasks/events for the current day
Internal Communication (Similar to email but separately viewed) - this list will link to singular messages and/or files.
Contacts (Personal, Groups, All)
Please note again - this will all be accessible from ONE page. It is built upon an asynchronous platform meaning that changing 'viewable areas' will merely load content into the main view port.
The next page type will encompass one of Email, Calendar, Internal Communication and Contacts. This will all be loaded in a popup window. Please pick one of following for your design:
Email - Folders for inbox, sent for corporate account + separate inbox/sent/folder list for their personal accounts + viewing pane window
Contacts - Listing all contacts (with grouping as well). Example groups include by company, which might also be restricted by department access (So a broker might have access to the lenders at another business) as well as one folder that will be dedicated to 'Our Company'
Internal Communications will need to list recent posts / files to the company (as well as showing comments for these posts). Will need to be able to see the list of folders that these communications will fall under.
Please note: users of the system will be accessing with screens ranging from 15" to 30" widescreen.
