We provide high speed internet service (like DSL or Cable, but better
Our target audience is local Oregon internet users of home and
business internet. Our internet service is fast and reliable, but we
are especially proud of our no-nonsense approach and friendly support.
¿A qué sector dirías que pertenece tu empresa?
Sitio web existente
¿Qué idea tienes, qué estilo te gusta para tu web page?
Clean and simple. Light. Warm images.
Oregon has a vibrant microbrewery culture, it might be interesting to
borrow some ideas from their designs.
Our slogan is "better internet". We pride ourselves on our personal
customer service. So we want a website that conveys human interaction
without being either too messy (photo and color overload) or too
sterile (http://www.cox.com is an example of "too sterile")
Our logo is attached in .AI format. We need this logo on the site, but
we don't have to theme the whole site around it.
Descripciones de páginas
Main page: Quickly describe what we do, with a place to display
current sales or deals and perhaps news
Secondary page: Template for all the other pages, which may contain
tables, graphs, and paragraphs of text
These pages do NOT need to contain our existing content. You can copy
what you like from our existing website, but don't worry too much
about the exact content (you can make stuff up if you want). You are
producing art, we'll fiddle with the text later.
Lo que debe evitarse
I have mixed feelings about endless scrolling. I'm not 100% against it, but I'm not really convinced either.
Most of the examples that I list are likable based on their main screen, not necessarily the content that follows underneath. For example, floatdesign.net has a great looking main screen, but does get a bit noisy if you scroll down.
Again, I'm not *against* long scroll websites, I just don't want to put too much on one page.
In addition to the main design, we need you to show how the site would scale down (responsive design) to display on a tablet or phone.
We like our logo, but it doesn't need to be shown "as is". We can theme off of the blue/green box, for example, and put the actual word "Alyrica" somewhere else. Use your imagination. Go crazy.
We list our old site http://www.alyrica.net for reference, but please understand that this is a COMPLETE redesign. We do not intend to "fit" the old content into the new design. Feel free to make up your own content.
Again, please don't try to fit all our old text and pictures into the new design. Start from scratch. Think new.
