We are building a website that ranks websites on page-load performance (measured by external software agents all over the world). People can enter their website which then will be measured, ranked and compared to others in the same category over a period of time. Our public is the general public.
We need a front-page design that can be used as general theme.
This frontpage needs to show a large ranking-table / leaderboard (10 - 15 entries w. rank#, name of site, performance number, up/down/same as previous week arrow), a big graph showing performance over time, a Call-to-action inviting people to enter their website. Of course a nice (minimal header and footer with standard things like contact, etc.
Ranked sites are grouped into categories, the frontpage will only show one category a time but they need to be selectable (for instance with tabs). Think: 'all', 'industry', 'weblog', 'news', 'government', etc. Max 6-7 categories.
The site will initially be in Dutch, but don't worry too much about that. Just do your thing in English. The name of the site will be http://WWW.HOESNELISMIJNWEBSITE.NL (abbreviated /aliased: HSIMW). Which translates to: 'howfastismywebsite'.
