¿Qué idea tienes, qué estilo te gusta para tu web page?
Needs to be very modern web 2.0, but I'd rather it was not a complete bootstrap clone. The text content on the prototype is pretty much what I will be using, but your job is to make it come alive --- narrate it with photos, add surprising details... I'll attach some stock photos that I like, but I am very open to suggestion on this part.
It is important to me that the style reflect local culture somewhat. This means that it is informal (no suits), and has elements that are a bit grungy (Seattle is the birthplace of grunge after all). I think of startups as a very informal "roll up your sleeves and get working" type of activity, and I like to roll up my sleeves and get working as well.
Stylistically, my thinking is to go somewhat monochromatic or nearly so --- black and white with some dark color in place of black (the prototype uses a dark brown) --- but I'm not set on that idea.
I like some elements to be a exaggerated (like the font size & positioning on the title) --- it suits my personality :-)
The web site will be reactive, but I'm not too concerned that the mobile-scale site have a lot of design elements.
Descripciones de páginas
The prototype is organized as a single page with a sequence of topics --- I like this organization. I'd be happy to play around with how they progress on the page. Maybe there should be one-line summaries that move aside to show the whole text.
Also: even though I use the word "I" a lot in the text, the imagery and focus should be on the web site visitor not on me.
Lo que debe evitarse
I don't want facebook/twitter/etc. sharing buttons.
I don't have a copy of photoshop, so I'd like deliverables at the end to be jpg.
The source for the web site prototype is http://github.com/denised/sandboxconsulting. I am a coder so I can code up animations, etc.
The first three photos are the best I could come up for attaching to individual sections (they would be "technology", "team" and "product" in that order) --- I'm very open to replacing them or doing something different.
I also had an idea that a set of photos could be made to look more harmonious by tweaking their colors --- the last photo is an experiment with the "monochromatic" idea that I kind of like --- but I *really* don't know how to do stuff to photos!
