We would like to redesign our Product page (mykeyport.com/product.html) in order to transition it from a brochure page that tries to answer as many questions as possible to a primary landing page that provides a strong overall value proposition for purchasing a Keyport and provides direction to other pages should the visitor require additional information. We would like this page to serve as a general template for future landing pages that we would develop for specific target markets.
For the time being, we are going to keep the existing header and footer. We consider the subnav for the Product page to be part of body, so you may change it as you see fit even if it winds up fitting in the header or in a bar just below the header.
There are two major parts to this project - UI and page content.
The UI needs to be simple and easy to navigate with a really clean subnav. We want the visitor to be able to get through the entire page in less than a minute or two having grasped a the advantages of a Keyport vs. a traditional keychain and being ready to check out our store and make a purchase.
The current page and associated subnav pages should provide you with all the content you need. In addition to UI, we are very much interesting in what critical pieces of information you select to optimize our value proposition.
We would like the page to address the following customer questions:
* What is Keyport?
* Why is Keyport better than my current setup?
~ Quick and dirty examples
* What are others saying about Keyport?
* What does it cost?
* How do I place my order?
Overall, we would like the page to be:
* Provide the most important information for a customer to make a purchase decision
* Provide a proper sub-nav in order for the customer to learn more if he/she would like (see current sub nav structure for initial topics)
