We are a consulting company that helps businesses sales teams increase their sales and make them more predictable. Who doesn't want "predictable" revenue?! Our customers tend to be technology & software companies (like www.BrightEdge.com) who sell to other businesses (business-to-business). They have salespeople, and want to grow faster with more control over their growth & destiny (and peace of mind). The main colors/logo is the "hot coals" sketch on the front of our Predictable Revenue book. I drew it myself. You don't need to stick to just those colors, but use it as an inspiration. 1. HOME There should be a way to register for our newsletter & free stuff that is obvious. Also a way to learn something useful right away - get new people's interest. 2. LEARN (or "Learn & Tools" or "Education") * This is where we'd have our blog, videos, tools people can read, watch, learn from, download, use * A place to learn as much as they want, get information they need about how to specialize their sales teams, generate outbound leads, etc. * We could consider breaking it into two sections, since we have both content and downloadable tools: 3. EVENTS * I like the events page on www.corporatevisions.com/events.html - and how they have the categories of live, recorded, etc. 4. SERVICES Share about the products and services do we offer, and help people choose the right one for them. 5. ABOUT 6. CONTACT The About and Contact pages would be the same format and layout, unless you came up with ideas why not do it. We are open to help & ideas on better ways to lay out our pages and the order, structure and formats.
What to avoid
Complexity. Jargon. Boringness / 'too corporate' Hard to understand. Being stiff / too formal
