OCD is a common, chronic and long-lasting mental health condition in which a person experiences uncontrollable, intrusive and reoccurring thoughts (obsessions) and behaviors (compulsions) where they feel the urge to repeat over and over, in the attempt to temporarily relieve the unpleasant feelings brought on by the obsessive thought. Orchard OCD is a registered charity that works to accelerate the development of new and better treatments for obsessive-compulsive disorder. Our vision is a world where all patients suffering with OCD receive effective treatment for their condition.
