The website should be colourful and fun, feminine without being girly. Planda is personal, friendly and modern. The colours are rich orange and turquoise.

1. The landing page must be cheerful but simple, with a clear call to action above the fold and a minimum of clutter. It should be clear, with a plain background, the logo at the top left, a menu bar across the top and a large banner with an image and text, “start designing now”, which will lead to the item creation page. Scrolling down, a similar banner should read "inspiration" and link to page number 4.
2. The creation page is the crux of the entire business – everything is riding on the customer experience of creating their dream planner in a novel and enjoyable way. It must open with a choice of sizes and thicknesses (with price); then an option for 3, 7, 12 or no sections.
3. This leads to a blank page spread, a view of an open notebook. Here, there must be an option to choose from templates or to start from scratch. Then the blank page or template can be edited by dragging lines, inserting boxes, inserting or editing text (including font), and options to change colours and add graphics. There also need to be ways to 'turn' the pages of the notebook and bookend a section with unique pages, before turning to the next section and working through it. There then must be a button to download the pages as a pdf and one to go through to the checkout.
4. The inspiration page is a simple display of notebook designs with a description, and could probably be structured like a blog.
The entire concept of the business is riding on the notebook design functionality, which needs to be clear, intuitive and fun.
